Clearing

We clear annually about 8000 hectare of young forest clearance and undergrowth clearance.

All clearers have undergone the training ‘Silvicultural School’ and passed tests. This training covers subjects such as forest management, nature conservation and cultural-environmental conservation, etc.

Each work team is led by a supervisor/quality officer, who is also responsible for reporting and follow-up of every tract we have cleared. In order to locate uncertain boundary lines and stand boundaries, our supervisors make use of the latest GPS technology.
